Growing Info, follow in order:
Scarification: Soak in water, let stand in water for 24 hours.
Stratification: cold stratify for 60 days.
Germination: sow seed 1/4" deep, tamp the soil, mulch the seed bed.
Other: expect germination in 10 days @ 70-85 degrees F, it will take longer if cooler.

Physical Characteristics  Abies veitchii is an evergreen Tree growing to 25 m (82ft 0in) at a fast rate. It is hardy to zone 3 and is not frost tender. It is in leaf 12-Jan It is in flower in June, and the seeds ripen from Sep to October. The flowers are monoecious (individual flowers are either male or female, but both sexes can be found on the same plant) and are pollinated by Wind. The plant prefers light (sandy), medium (loamy) and heavy (clay) soils and can grow in heavy clay soil.The plant prefers acid and neutral soils..It can grow in full shade (deep woodland) semi-shade (light woodland) or no shade.It requires moist soil.
