Comments:
A superb flowering clinging vine. Wyman and Dirr agree that it is one of the best; may be slow to establish, but it's reliable once it does. The bark is cinnamon-brown and exfoliating, the white summer flowers are in flat-topped clusters to 10" and the beautiful dark green leaves are very attractive. It has an unusual habit for a vine, the stem climbs vertically with holdfasts and then branches grow horizontally from the main stem. It is a Japan native.
