Growing Info, follow in order:
Scarification: Soak in water, let stand in water for 24 hours.
Stratification: cold stratify for 4-6 weeks.
Germination: Sow seed in moist peat moss and just cover the seeds with peat.
Keep moist and in the light and provide good drainage.
Other: The seed usually germinates in 2 - 4 weeks. Seed needs warm temperatures after sowing to germinate (75 degrees F +).

The leaves are reminiscent of a lily, and the flowerhead can reach up to 5 feet in height. There are many varieties of torch lily, and they bloom at different times during the growing season. The flowers are red, orange, and yellow.
