Growing Info, follow in order:
Scarification: Soak in water, let stand in water for 24 hours.
Stratification: cold stratify for 120 days.
Germination: can be sown outdoors in the fall for spring germination, sow seed 1/16" deep, tamp the soil, keep moist, mulch the seed bed.
Other: Germination tends to be slow, Germinates faster in warmer temperatures.

Leycesteria formosa ( Himalayan Honeysuckle , Flowering Nutmeg , Himalaya Nutmeg or Pheasant Berry ) is a deciduous shrub in the family Caprifoliaceae , native to the Himalaya and southwestern China . It is considered a noxious invasive species in Australia, New Zealand, the neighboring islands of Macronesia, and some other places [ 1 ] [ 2 ] . It is not yet considered an noxious invasive species in Canada or the United States, but many plants with the common name "Honeysuckle" are.
