Scarification: Soak in water, let stand in water for 24 hours.
Stratification: cold stratify for 120 days.

Physical Characteristics  Magnolia macrophylla is a deciduous Tree growing to 10 m (32ft) by 10 m (32ft) at a slow rate. It is hardy to zone 6 and is not frost tender. It is in flower in June.
