In a Nutshell:
* This species produces a very strong root system, preferred as a rootstock by many growers of edible pear trees.
* It has also proven to produce the maximum number of pounds of fruit for domestic pear production.
* White flowers to 5/8", 1/2" fruit, brown and dotted, native to northern China.
* Don't be alarmed....The juvenile leaves are lobed and look very much like Hawthorn leaves!
