Growing Info, follow in order:
Scarification: Soak in water, let stand in water for 12 hours.
Stratification: warm stratify for 30 days, cold stratify for 90 days.

Physical Characteristics  Fraxinus ornus is a deciduous Tree growing to 9 m (29ft) by 6 m (19ft). It is hardy to zone 6 and is not frost tender. It is in flower in May, and the seeds ripen from Sep to December. The flowers are dioecious (individual flowers are either male or female, but only one sex is to be found on any one plant so both male and female plants must be grown if seed is required) and are pollinated by Wind.The plant is not self-fertile. The plant prefers light (sandy), medium (loamy) and heavy (clay) soils.The plant prefers acid, neutral and basic (alkaline) soils..It cannot grow in the shade.It requires dry or moist soil.The plant can tolerates strong winds but not maritime exposure.
